Ecological Architecture

.

add comments - blog arquisos - spanishThe ecological architecture gives an special attention to the care and placement in the natural environment of the building, looking that this insertion is damaging the less possible allowing the coexistence of both states Nature and Architecture.

His interest is focused on two main areas:

  • Reducing Pollution in all phases of the building:
    • Creation and transportation of Building Materials.
    • construction of the building.
    • Use and maintenance of the building.
    • Recycling the building in its final stage of demolition.
  • Reducing Environmental Impact
    • Visual, not destroying the Natural and Morphological essence of the Area.
    • Acoustic, avoiding the installation of elements that disturbs the acoustic existing environment.
    • Flora, trying to use the local vegetation in the area of action.
    • Fauna, encouraging the permeability of all species (insects, birds, amphibians ,...) between areas not touched and built.

The Ecological Architecture is key as it seeks to generate the minimal impact in the area, preserving, as possible, the existing natural environment. But the impact is impossible to avoid and in our opinion the stiffness in reafforestation does not solve various problems that architecture arise. Therefore in Sustainable Architecture the planting within the urbanized area with noninvasive alien species is a viable option that can solve, and even improve the relationship of these areas to their natural environment and wildlife that must sustain.
