Property Registry Office

The Property Registry Office it's a public office in which to register or record the acts and contracts related to ownership and other rights to ensure, protect and legitimize the property.
The first time a property is on the books is called "inmatriculación" and involves the opening of a "folio" (page).
In the folio is reflected in the chronological history of the land and all its vicissitudes, this is called "Tracto".
The foleos (plural of folio) has two parts, one for registration and one for the marginal notes.
- Registration: comes on the right of the folio containing the notarial records (purchase and sale, a statement of new, horizontal division, etc.).
- Marginal Notes: comes at the left contain incidents like: injunctions, requirements management, tax loads, liens, conditions, preventive annotations, etc.
