Cadastre

The Real Estate Cadastre is an administrative record of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, which describes the real estate rural, urban and special ones.

The description of the properties will include their physical, economic and legal implications, on which we'll find land location and cadastre reference, the area, type of cultivation or use, construction quality, graphic representation, the rateable value and the land owner.

The Cadastre is integrated into the Ministry of Finance and Budget, through the General Secretariat of Finance, and its main functions are:

• Training, maintenance and review of real estate cadastres.
• The review and coordination of property valuation.
• The study and proposed regulations on the real estate cadastre.
• The inspection of land property tax.
• The information and assistance to citizens as well as the management and custody of cadastral databases.
